Food Bank

Lake City Community Food Bank exists to demonstrate Christ’s love by providing food to the hungry in our community who are in crisis and need short term assistance.

The food that we provide is made possible through the generous donations of people who give money above and beyond their regular church giving – their tithes and offerings. As we have limited resources, we have made a strategic decision to limit our food provisions to families that reside in the following zip codes; Coeur d’ Alene; (83814 , 83815 and 83816) Hayden;( 83835)
Rathdrum;( 83858) Athol; (83801) Spirit Lake (83869).

Our Core Values:

  • We are God-dependent
  • We believe life transformation starts with relationship with Jesus Christ
  • We are all in need of God’s help
  • We provide life-skill classes to assist people to become independent
  • We provide hope beyond the crisis

Serve Opportunities:

  • Open Wednesday’s from 10 AM to 2 PM
  • Serving opportunities on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Volunteer orientation, 2nd Wednesday of every month (except for December), 11:30 AM by the Fireplace.
